Specific Composition:

Inconel 686 is mainly composed of the following elements:
- Nickel (Ni): 58-63%.
- Chromium (Cr): 19.0-23.0 %.
- Molybdenum (Mo): 15.0-17.0 %
- Iron (Fe): 5.0% Max.
- Tungsten (W): 3.0-4.4 %
- Niobium (Nb): 1.0-3.0% contained
- Carbon (C): 0.010% Max
- Manganese (Mn), silicon (Si), phosphorus (P), sulphur (S) and titanium (Ti) are present in lower amounts.
Specific Gravity:

Forging:

2. Petroleum and petrochemical industry: Due to its excellent corrosion resistance, Inconel 686 is widely used in petroleum extraction, refining and storage equipment, such as oil well casing, petroleum pipelines, petrochemical equipment and so on.
